Spring - It was a long, hard winter, but it appears we've all survived. The skies have cleared. The wind has died down, and the temperatures have risen from the bone- shattering depths of the low 50s, to today's steamy 59. Yes friend, break out the swimming trunks, because with today's unlimited visibility, we can see all the way to the beach... AND BEYOND! Tanaka-san wa oishii desu ka? Hai, so desu.

Well, except for this damnass hill in the way.

I know everyone in the east hates to read things like this. But, Tanja mentioned to me that she's ready for spring, and that there is a difference. I laughed at her, but It's true. The air feels different, it's a little smoother. Rather than the way it usually smells near my apartment, it smells like a bunch of warm, kind of floral-infused piss. As subtle as the change is, it's notable.

Now, if only this woman sitting next to me would stop popping her chewing gum, stop sounding like she's chewing stones, all will be good with the world.
