Thank God It's Monday
Damn this thing isn't broken.

In a strange twist, after working a deadly, one-day week, Tanja, Jay (New Window), and I are heading off to Iceland. This is the trip that was supposed to happen for the New Year, but because of the unending incomptence of FedEx (as well as a couple of dumb mistakes by Tanja and me), had to be rescheduled. We all think it'll turn out to be a blessing, because we'll have almost 12 hours of day light each day, not 12 hours for the entire trip.
And away we go.
Photography fans, I've packed my Olympus XA2, of course, and my Minolta X-700 with its 50mm f/1.4 lens. The X-700 was something of a strange decision, because it's so big, but It's also a great camera, and it deserves to go to Iceland, so it's its turn.
