As if this all hasn't been all bizarre all along, tonight, Tanja and I are going to go talk to someone about keeping an eye on this kid while we're off at work so that we can pay for them to keep on eye on the kid while we're at work...

Yes, this is hardly even the beginning, I know.

I took the photo above with a Polaroid EE100 Special Land Camera (New Window), that I picked up for $15 at a junk store in Farmingdale when I was out visiting my folks one weekend earlier this year, on 85 film. My father gave me his old Land Camera a couple years ago, but I never really figured out how to get it to work. It was tough to get film, and the film I got faded quickly, and I just never got into it.

Lately, I've been bored with regular photography for some reason, and have been really trying to get this one to work, and I finally think I've got it. The shutter's a bit moody, doesn't fire all the time, but I've just about figured out how to tell when it has and when it hasn't. I don't know about you, but I really looks the way this old peel apart film looks. It looks the way photos are supposed to look. Soon, I'll start busting out Dad's camera.
